Suda Thai Café Restaurant at St Martin's Courtyard offers a regional Thai, all day dining menu and cafe.Perfect for sharing, the menu offers a variety of favourites to share, Som tum dishes and grilled, soups, rice and noodle dishes and curries which are brought to the table as and when they are ready. Taste an eclectic mix of traditional and contemporary dishes; with inspired dishes such as choo-chee pla, a sea bass red curry as well as regional specialities including kao soy, a northern chicken and noodle dish and laab gai, a minced chicken salad. Desserts are contemporary interpretations of traditional Thai desserts; the sticky rice and homemade coconut ice cream is delicious or if you're feeling adventurous try the Taro balls in coconut cream. The drinks menu is equally interesting and sees a house blend of tamarind juice known to help digestion and an unusual but delicious mixture of rosella juice and wild honey. Spread over two floors and with al fresco dining in the beautiful open air courtyard, SUDA can accommodate 160 covers. The ground floor offers less formal seating on wooden tables decorated with Thai grass and rustic wooden stools. Upstairs, floor to ceiling windows allow light to flood into the restaurant and give an uninterrupted view down to Long Acre. Open from 12pm seven days a week.
